RICHARD F. LEVINSON, 78, of
Farmington Hills, died Feb. 3, 2012.
He is survived by his daughters and
son-in-law, Karen Levinson of Ferndale,
Lauri and Ted Valentin of Willow
Springs, Ill., Jennifer Nemeth of Royal
Oak; former spouse, Barbara Levinson;
grandchildren, Stacey Valentin, Delia
Valentin, Alyssa Valentin, Benjamin
Nemeth, Zachary Nemeth; many other
loving family members and friends.
Contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association, the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation or a charity of one's
choice. Interment was held at the Clover
Hill Park Cemetery in Birmingham.

MORTON MALONE, 92, of Oak Park,
formerly of Ortonville, died Feb. 1, 2012.
He is survived by his daughters and
sons-in-law, Sandra Ann and Terry Berg,
Sandra Frances and Leonard Mege;
grandchildren, Kelly Ann and Tom
Rissell, Christopher Berg, Marc Mege
and Elisa Aiuto; many loving nieces,
nephews and friends.
He was the cherished brother of the
late Ethelene Harker, the late Irene
Bartlett and the late Pauline Streit; the

dear brother-in-law of the late Cecelia
Lebowitz, the late Margaret Leebove and
the late Clara Braunfield.
Interment was at Oakview Cemetery.

MOLLY (MALKA) SHAW, 93, of Los
Angeles, Calif., formerly of Detroit, died
peacefully Jan. 14, 2012, in Los Angeles.
Her love for Yiddish, the language in
song, played an important part of her life
and she performed at many Yiddish cul-
tural events. She formed choral groups
wherever she lived. She had an unusual
talent at the piano.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her children,
Mike (Linda) Shaw of Reston, Va., Rick
(Lorriene) Shaw of Simi Valley, Calif.,
and Lenny Shaw; loving sister, Rose Roth
of Bloomfield Hills; sister-in-law, Pearl
Yaffe of Winnipeg; nieces, nephews and
grandchildren.
She was a devoted wife for 60 years of
the late Dr. Manny Shaw; sister-in-law of
the late Harry Roth; sister of the late Dr.
Philip Yaffe and the late Dr. Leo (Betty)
Yaffe.
