the late Shirley Schwartz, the late
Dorothy and the late Leon Zechman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

Danielle Field, Carmen Mandel,
Aliza Applebaum, Dovid Applebaum,

Mrs. Sheinfeld was the sister of
the late Sylvia Morris.

DR. ALBERT SHIPKO, 87, of
Southfield, died July 25, 2011.
He was a dentist.
Dr. Shipko is survived by his wife
of 64 years, Dorothy Fishman Shipko;
daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Shipko
and Jay Sloofman of New York; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Stuart and Mary
Jane Shipko of California; grandchildren,
Laura Sloofi-nan, Bonnie Sloofinan,
Zachary Shipko and Chloe Shipko; sister
and brother-in-law, Betty and Seymour
Lichter of Illinois; brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law, Melvin and Karla Fishman
and Ruth and Herbert Abrams.
He was the dear brother of the late
Dr. Leo Shipko.

SHIRLEY (SUBAR) SKLASH, 89, of
Jerusalem, Israel, formerly of Detroit,
died July 12, 2011.
She taught music in the Detroit
Pubic Schools and confirmation class-
es at Shaarey Zedek Sunday school
before leaving for Israel in 1951, where
she continued giving piano lessons
and music programs.
Mrs. Sklash is survived by a son,
Menachim (Gila); daughters, Miriam
(Beni) Benichou and Ellen (Michael)
Berkowitz; nine grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; brother, E. David
(Claire) Subar of Jerusalem; sister,
Adeline (Frank) Loewenberg of Efrat,
Israel; brother, Seymour (Phyllis)
Subar of West Bloomfield.
She was the wife of the late David
Sklash; daughter of the late Augusta
and the late Julius Subar.
Burial was in K'far Haroeh, Israel,
where she and David lived most of
their lives.
DEBRA E. STEINBERG, 68, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Aug. 1, 2011.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band, Ronald Steinberg of Bloomfield
Hills; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa
and Eric Brodsky of Farmington Hills,
Kimberly and Gary Goodman of West
Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-law,
Jeffrey and Barbara Shillman; grandchil-
dren, Joshua Siegel, Emily Siegel, Ross
Brodsky, Samantha Brodsky, Jonathan
Brodsky, Ryan Goodman and Samuel
Goodman. She is also survived by her
devoted caregiver, Connie Farnun, and
many loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Interment at the Clover Hill
Park Cemetery in Birmingham.
Contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association or to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.
