JEANNE COHEN TAMOR, 86, of San
Diego, Calif., died July 22, 2011, after a
short struggle with ovarian cancer.
She was the beloved wife for 62 years
of Stephen Tamor; cherished mother of
Lynne (Michael Sugar) Tamor of West
Bloomfield, Kenneth (Carol) Tamor of
Vienna Va., Michael (Helen) Tamor of
Toledo, Ohio; mother-in-law of Fred
Hansen of Denver, Colo.; grandmother
of Rachel and Isaac Sugar, Benjamin
Tamor and Robert Hansen; sister-in-law
of Lucille Tamor Adler Goldsmith; eight
nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Sam
and the late Eva (Miller) Cohen; mother
of the late Sharon Hansen; sister of the
late Pearl Cohen Sakol and the late Miriam
Cohen Slapion.
Contributions may be made to the

org) or a charity of one's choice. A memo-
rial gathering will be held in San Diego in
November.

LAWRENCE WARREN, 74, of Southfield,
died Aug. 1, 2011.
He was a family law specialist and a
partner with Sommers, Schwartz and
Silver for more than 40 years.

Mr. Warren is survived by his sisters
and brother-in-law, Diane Otis, Elaine
and Ronald Maier; nieces and nephews,
Kenneth Maier, Wendy and Robert Farrell,
Eric and Shana Maier, Stacie Maier, Jordan
Maier, David and Bonnie Otis, Randy and
Elise Otis, Michelle and Lawrence Levy
and Jeffrey Otis and their families; broth-
er-in-law, Maurice Otis.
He was the devoted son of the late Max
and the late Eva Warren.

JOANN WARSH died July 8, 2011, in
Clearwater, Fla.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori
(Dr. Dennis) College of Durham, N.C.,
Debbie Fields of Knoxville, Tenn.; son,
Steve Warsh of Las Vega, Nev.; grandchil-
dren, Adam, Maxwell and Grissom College,
Nick and Matt Fields; brother, Larry
(Bobbie) Warsh of West Bloomfield.
Mrs. Warsh was the wife of the late

Leonard Warsh.

DR. HERBERT
WEISENTHAL, 73, of
Bloomfield Hills, died
July 26, 2011.
Dr. Weisenthal gradu-
ated from Mumford
High School and Wayne
State
University. He went
Weisenthal
on to medical school in
Des Moines, Iowa, where he specialized as
a general practitioner. He also completed a
fellowship in radiology. He was practicing
medicine up until the time of his death.
He was extremely active and enjoyed bik-
ing, skiing and exercising. Most of all, he
cherished his family.
He is survived by his children, Mark
Weisenthal of Birmingham, Craig Weisenthal
of Troy and Erin Epstein of Bloomfield Hills;
grandchildren, Ben and Jonah Epstein. Dr.
Weisenthal is also survived by the mother of
his children, Sandra Weisenthal, and a world
of family and friends.

LOUIS ZUCKER, 95, of Southfield, died
July 22, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of Marillyn
(Remeny) Zucker and the late Diane Bakst
Zucker; dear father of Dava Zucker and
Myra (Judy Kay) Zucker; devoted brother
of William (Gerrie) Zucker and the late
Sylvia Hyman, Harry (the late Leah)
Zucker and Morrie (Mitzie) Zucker. He
is also survived by Marilyn's children,
Sharie (Albert) Gladner and Douglas
Peneny (Remeny); granddaughters,
Nicole (Ted) Wagner and Merrily (Kenny)
Gechter; great-grandchildren, Chloe and
Carter Wagner, Everett and Trudy Gechter;
loving nieces, nephews, other family mem-
bers and friends.
Contributions may be made to the
Temple Israel Susan and Harold Loss
Early Childhood Center, any other Temple
Israel fund or a charity of one's choice.
Internment at Machpelah Cemetery.
