THE LIVES WE TOUCH

Here are some way e ur donors have impacted the
people and land of Israel:

eh my water quota was
lowered by 30%, JNF built a
reservoir to triple the amount of
recycled water in my area. Now
my sweet potatoes, corn, and
other organic crops can feed
my family and a nation."
-Benny Shmulevich, Sderot
farmer

"During
course of this terrible fire, KKL-JNF's dedicat
firefighters demonstrated a high level of professionalism
and skill. With the help of our friends throughout the world,
we are now ready to channel our energies to the long
and arduous work of bringing the color green back to the
Carmel forests..."
-Dr. Omri Bonneh, KKL Chief Forester, Northern Region

"Dunn he shelling, we couldn't
do anything but stay at home...
When I entered the playground
for the first time I was
absolutely shocked. I couldn't
believe someone would build
such an amazing place for the
children of Sderot."
- Stay Amar, 14, Sderot resident

Free Concert
For Free Aid
Dan Gilbert of Franklin, co-
founder and chairman of Quicken
Loans in Detroit, was instrumental
in helping settle the recent strike
by musicians against the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra.
Gilbert and Matt Cullen, COO of
Rock Ventures, a Quicken Loans
subsidiary, spent many hours
mediating the impasse between the
musicians and DSO management.
As a "thank you:' the DSO gave
all 1,900 seats at Orchestra Hall to
Quicken employees for the April
29 performance of "Disney in
Concert:'
