But most of all, Rabbi
Hornsten spoke of Lori's soul.
"Lori saw the good in peo-
ple. She drew the good out of
people, and they always came
back to her," she said. "She
leaves us with a rich legacy.
In the way she celebrated the
very best parts of life with
joy, hope, strength and cour-
age. How she made the simple
things fantastic. How she made
something ordinary come
alive. How she could laugh
every single day of her life.
"She taught us that friend-
ships are to be treasured, and
creativity is to be celebrated.
And most of all, that love
binds us together."
