Mrs. Schwartz was the beloved wife
of the late Albert Lee Carnick and the
late Barney Schwartz; the dear sister of
the late George Breman.

NADINE " DOLLY"
SHABERMAN, 96,

of West Bloomfield,
died July 14, 2010.
She graduated
from the University
of Michigan in
1934 with a BA
Shaberman
degree in journal-
ism and worked as a reporter for the
Jewish News. She returned to school
and earned an MSW in 1962 from
Wayne State University and worked
for 15 years as a social worker at the
Methodist Children's Home.
Mrs. Shaberman is survived by her
son and daughter-in-law, Marc and
Naomi Shaberman of West Bloomfield;
daughters and sons-in-law, Julianne
and Erol Oktay, Susan Shaberman ;
grandchildren, Anthony and Deborah
Shaberman, Jonathon Shaberman,
Deniz Oktay and Ramon Almonte,
Liza Oktay and David Hicks, Juliette
and Joe Streicker, Nicole and Matthew
McKenzie, Aimee and Kenneth Jarrett;
great-grandchildren, Rachel and
Joseph Shaberman, Lillian and Claire
McKenzie, Miriam Streicker-Hirt,
Eli Aaron Streicher-Hirt, Rebecca
Streicker Calle, Marozni Almonte,
Layla Jarrett, Naomi and Tessa Hicks.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Harry Shaberman; the loving mother
of the late Lt. John Shaberman.

JACK STEIN, 90, of Oak Park, died

July 15, 2010.
He was the owner of Quality Mailing
Service. He was also a member of
Jewish Parents Institute.
