ARIEL STIEBEL, 90, of Southfield, died
July 15, 2010.
He was an electrical engineer who had
18 patents.
Mr. Stiebel is survived by his daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Michelle and John
Stephens; son, Alex Stiebel; grandchildren,
Orna and Joel Fisher, Keren and Josef
Klein and David Stiebel; great-grandchil-
dren, Leah, Kyla, Raya and Zeev Fisher and
Eliyahu Klein; sister and brother-in-law,
Ruth and Yen Shrem of Israel; sister-in-
law, Sarah Shamir.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Hanna Stiebel; the dear father-in-law of
the late Devorah Stiebel.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

DORIS" DODY" WEIL, 87, of West
Bloomfield, died July 11, 2010.
She was a furniture representative.
Mrs. Weil is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Laura and Dr. Edward
Cohn of Huntington Woods; grandchil-
dren, Kristen Weil, Catherine and Terry
Taylor, Aaron and Dorothy Cohn and
Emily and Noah Caplan; great-grand-
children, Michael and Carolyn Taylor and
Naftali Caplan; brother and sister-in-law,
Alan and Lori Crane.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Bertram E. Weil; the loving mother of the
late Andy Weil.

ESTHER WENOKUR RESSLER, 91, of
Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Farmington Hills,
died July 12, 2010.
She was the eldest of three children
born in Detroit to Eastern European
Jewish immigrants. She attended
Longfellow Elementary School and Detroit
Central High School and worked at her
father's grocery in the Eastern Market.
She married Milton " Peppy" Ressler in
1941. After World War II, they moved to
Pontiac, where they raised two daughters
and were founding members of B'nai
Israel Synagogue.
Mrs. Ressler worked at her husband's
jewelry business, which was located in
Simms Bros. department store in down-
town Pontiac, where she was known as
"the jewelry lady" In 1965, they relocated
to Southfield and then Farmington Hills.
In later years, she received the Jewish
Family Service Volunteer of the Year
Award, celebrating more than 20 years
of service. Recently, she was a dedicated
member of the Temple Israel Treasures
and daily minyan.
Mrs. Ressler was famous among family
and friends for her sharp sense of humor
and for holding tea parties for two genera-
tions of Ressler and Wenokur children.
Her husband Peppy died in 1993, and
her sister Jane and brother Lee both died
in 2009.
Mrs. Ressler is survived by her daugh-
ters and son-in-law, Adrienne Ressler Mott
and Russell Mott and Patricia Ressler-
Billion; granddaughters, Elisa Mott and
Jessamyn Ressler-Maerlender (Josh
Goldblatt); two great-grandchildren.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
