In 2010, it is anticipated that
$1.1 million of financial aid will
be awarded to families who oth-
erwise would be unable to pro-
vide their children a Jewish cam
experience.
While much of this need is
funded by the Jewish Federatio n
of Metropolitan Detroit and th e
Gilbert Challenge Fund, a sub
stantial portion must be rais ed by
the agency.

The Adat Shalom Sister hood in
Farmington Hills will welcome
psychic medium and a uthor
Rebecca Rosen as gue st speaker
at its annual Donor D ay event on
Thursday, May 6.
Rosen will discuss her newly
released book Spirt ed: Connect to
the Guides All Arou nd You. For the
past 10 years, she has served as "a
b ridge between
this world and
those who have
crossed over
onto the Other
Side." Her inten-
tion is to offer
guidance and
"open minds
Rebecca
and hearts to the

knowledge that
our souls are
eternal an d our deceased loved
ones are a t peace and always with
us."
An arr ay of boutiques have
been pl anned from 9:30 a.m. to
3:30 p. m. The program and lunch
will be gin at 11 a.m.

atte nd the luncheon and program,
w hich is sisterhood's major fund-
