DR. NORMAN PHELPS GREENE, 87,
of Southfield, died Nov. 25, 2009. He was
a dentist.
Dr. Greene is survived by his daugh-

and daughter-in-law, Randall and Diana

Livonia, died Nov. 28, 2009.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band, Morris Hochberger; sons and
daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Hochberger of

Maplegrove, Minn., Bruce Hochberger
of W. Hollywood, Calif.; sister, Eleanor
(the late Robert) Fitzerman of St.

Samuel; many loving nephews, other
family members and friends.

DOUGLAS KAY, 53, of Farmington
Hills, died Nov. 23, 2009.
He was a graduate of MSI with a BBA
in finance and an award winning build-
er and developer.
Mr. Kay is survived by his wife,

son-in-law, Jolie and Richard Hartman
of Florida, Alixandra Kay of Orchard
Lake; son, Matthew Kay; mother, Claire

Steven and Linda Harwood; mother-in-

He was the beloved son of the late Dr.
Sherman "Shim" Kay; dear son-in-law of

FANNY B. LAPPIN, 96, of Southfield,
died Nov. 24, 2009.
She was an active volunteer with the
Detroit Institute of Arts, a member of
Hadassah and a longtime member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek and its

sisterhood.
Mrs. Lappin is survived by her daugh-
ter and sons-in-law, Enid and Richard
Grauer of Huntington Woods, Barry
Stulberg; grandchildren, Tresa Grauer
and Avi Kaplan, David Grauer and
Carolyn Kraft, Diane Grauer and Danny
Nieder, Janet Erickson, Tom Stulbert, Dr.
