VIOLET RHODA FELDSTEIN, 93,
of West Bloomfield, died Nov. 28,
2009.
She was a president of ORT
America, an active member of
Hadassah, a Girl Scout leader and
chairman and member of the
High Holy Days Choir of Pines of
Delray North. She was a talented
artist. Two of her granddaughters
officiated at her funeral, Rabbi
Tamara Kolton of the Birmingham
Temple in Farmington Hills and
Rabbi Debra Newman Kamin
of Congregation Am Israel in
Northfield, Ill.
Mrs. Feldstein is survived by
daughters and a son-in-law, Janet
Newman of West Bloomfield, Dr.
Jerome and Linda Rodgers of Ann
Arbor; grandchildren, Rabbi Debra
Newman Kamin and Daniel Kamin,
Rabbi Tamara Kolton and Isaac
Kolton, Jason and Nancy Feldstein,
Susan Newman, Daniel Newman;
great-grandchildren, Lauren,
Elizabeth, Shai, Zachary, Charlotte,
Lior, Maya, Jared and Justin; sisters-
in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanne
and Ben J. Feldstein, Suzanne
Feldstein, Allan Cohen.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Ben V. Feldstein; the cherished
sister-in-law of the late Dr. Herbert
Feldstein, the late Laura Cohen, the
late Edna Epstein, the late David
and the late Rose Feldstein, the late
Bessie and the late Allen Dinkin
and the late Israel Feldstein.
Interment at Adat Shalom
