his bar mitzvah
Saturday, June 6, at
Temple Israel in
Wolf
West Bloomfield. He
is the brother of Aviv
and the grandson of Jane and Larry
Sherman and Rosa Wolf. He is also the
grandson of the late Stanley Wolf. His
proud great-grandmothers are Lucille
Wolf and Marjorie Fisher. He is also
the great-grandchild of the late Max
Fisher, the late Lillian and the late Fred
Sherman, the late Helen and the late
David Moor and the late Leon Wolf.
Stanley attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Among his mitzvah proj-
ects, he felt the experiences at West
Bloomfield-based Friendship Circle
were the most meaningful.

of West Bloomfield and the late
'Steven Posen, and Duncan Gilman,
son of Rozelle and Richard Gilman of
Richardson, Texas, are pleased to announce
their engagement.
Eve received her B.A. in Judaic studies
from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor,
a master's degree in experiential education
from the Fingerhut School of Education at the
American Jewish University Los Angeles, and
is entering her final year before her rabbinic
ordination at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic
Studies at the American Jewish University.
Duncan earned his B.S. in radio, television and film at the University of Texas,
Austin. He works as a video editor for cable television programs. Duncan also
directs the Santa Clarita Valley Men of Harmony barbershop chorus.
Eve and Duncan reside in Los Angeles, Calif. The wedding will take place in
June at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.

He is the son of Abi

Zachary is a seventh-grade student

their daughter Nicole Erin Adelman to David
Jeremy Brown, son of Kenneth and Roberta
Brown of Highland Park, Ill.
Nicole received her undergraduate degree
from the University of Michigan in Ann
Arbor and her juris doctor from Chicago-
Kent College of Law in Chicago. She prac-
tices real estate law in Chicago.
David received his undergraduate degree
from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He
is an adviser in the private wealth manage-
ment division at William Blair & Company in Chicago.
An August wedding is planned at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
