LYONS, 82, of Royal
Oak, died Jan. 11,
2009.
She was a

Lexington Arts
and Craft Society
Ceramics Guild and
also a member of
Hadassah.
Mrs. Lyons is survived by her hus-
band, Donald H. Lyons of Royal Oak;
sons and a daughter-in-law, Russell
Lyons of Bloomington, Ind., Barry and
Mercedes Lyons of Huntington Woods
and David Lyons of Carbondale, Ill.;
grandchildren, Daniel and Michael
Lyons; Arlene, Ralph, Cheryl, their
families, nieces, nephews, other rela-
tives and friends.
She was the sister and sister-in-law
of the late Abraham and the late Helen
Donsky and is also predeceased by the
late Jerry.

Nev., formerly of Oak Park, died Jan.
14, 2009.
She was a member of Temple Bet
Emet, Las Vegas, a past president of
the Oak Park Auxiliary of the Jewish
War Veterans and an active member
of the American
Legion Auxiliary in
Las Vegas. She was
an avid mah jongg
player and went on
many of the mah
jongg cruises and
retreats.

NELSON, 82, of

died Jan. 10, 2009.

teacher at Pepper
School, she retired
Nelson
in 1978. Mrs. Nelson
was also a member of Congregation
Shir Tikvah.
She is survived by daughters and
sons-in-law, Karen and Rick Scherba,
Naomi and Paul Choinard; grand-
children, David and Rebecca Scherba,
Adam Scherba, Sarah Choinard and
Lisa Choinard; sister and brother-in-
law, Leah and Mery Ezray; sister-in-
law, Illene Weimer; many loving nieces
and nephews.
Mrs. Nelson was the beloved wife of
the late David Wenner.
