died Jan. 16, 2009. She was a true and
generous friend to many.
She is survived by her husband,
Stephen Rice of Franklin; sons and a
daughter-in-law, Michael and Tracey
Stein of Orchard Lake and Adam
Rice of Franklin; grandchildren,
Jackson and Gracen; mother, Barbara
Wachstein; sister and brother-in-law,
Nancy and John Lichtwardt; brother
and sister-in-law, John and Gabriella
Travis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-
law, Susan Rice, Stuart and Laura Rice;
nieces and nephews, David Rice and
Noreen Bucknun, Noah Lichtwardt,
Max and Cosima Travis.
Mrs. Rice was the devoted daughter
of the late Michael Travis.

(Darrin) Levin, Andrea, Sarah, Molly
and Brianna Shwedel; great-grand-

Matthew and Lindsay; many other lov-
ing family members and friends.
Mrs. Shwedel was the beloved wife
of the late Ben Shwedel and the late
Melvyn Schubiner; mother of the late
Charles Schubiner; sister of the late
Rae Olender, the late Sara Kolodin and
the late Marvin Howard.
Interment at the Adat Shalom

Bloomfield, died Jan. 3, 2009.
She is survived by her loving chil-
