lic relations executive, Mr.
Grossman was the owner

which was started with

Mr. Grossman was the devoted son of
the late Isabel and the late Alan Grossman;
cherished brother of the late Tom

GERTRUDE HERTZBERG, 89, of
Asheville, N.C., formerly of Detroit, died
Jan. 12, 2009, at the Brooks Howell Home.
She was a native of New York. Mrs.
Hertzberg was a member of Beth Israel
Synagogue of Asheville, its sisterhood,
Ladies of Mosaic and a lifetime Hadassah
member.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Ronna and Rob Resnick of
Asheville; son and daughter-in-law, David
Allen Hertzberg and Doris Harmon of
Royal Oak; sisters-in-law, Lillian Fink of
South Hadley, Mass., Evelyn Starman of
Farmington Hills; granddaughter, Vanessa
H. Harmon of Detroit currently living in
South Korea.
She was the daughter of the late Morris
and the late Anna Goodman Finkelstein;
wife of the late Henry Hertzberg.

JINKS JERVEY-PAGE,
39, lost her battle with
cancer on Jan. 16,
2009, at her home in
Charlevoix.
She was born in
Greenville, S.C., on
March 13,1969, the
Jervey-Page
daughter of Darrell and
Pat Jervey. She was a
1987 graduate of Christ Church Episcopal
School, a 1991 honors graduate of the
University of Massachusetts in social
thought and political economy and earned
her MSW in counseling from Michigan
State University in 2007.
She was the owner and founder of
Gaitway Equine Therapy. She previously
lived in Greenville, Royal Oak, Chicago and
Charlevoix.
Her special hobbies included horseback
riding, the care and training of horses and
gardening. She loved her family and her
friends, all animals and chocolate cream
pie. She was a champion of the less fortu-
nate and a true friend to many. She wanted
to make the world a better place and did
so by being a part of it. Mrs. Jervey-Page
was proudly independent in thought,
word, and deed and will be greatly missed
by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Jervey-Page is survived by her
husband, Jason; children, Benjamin
Maxwell Page, 8, Sydney Rose Page, 3;
two sisters, Kay Roper and her husband,
Phil, Elizabeth Gentry and her husband,
Andrew; brother, Darrell and his wife,
Connie; brother-in-law, Mark Page and his
wife, Pam Sylvor; sister-in-law, Sarah Page;
her husband's parents, David and Andrea
Page; beloved nieces and nephews include
Alex and Jervey Roper, Alletta, Annie, and
Thomas Gentry, Jinks, Mac and Renee
Jervey, Maya and Noah Page.
She was the granddaughter of the late
Dr. and Mrs. J.W. Jervey Jr. and the late Mr.
and Mrs. A. R. Hamilton.

RICHARD KRASNOW, 84, of West
Bloomfield, died Jan. 18, 2009.
He was born on July 29, 1924, in Detroit.
His cause of death was complications from
a brain hemorrhage suffered on Jan. 2,
2009.
Mr. Krasnow was a veteran of World
War II and a graduate of the University
of Southern California. He worked as
an industrial engineer for Chrysler
Corporation, from which he retired in
1979. He remained an active member of
the International Industrial Engineering
Society.
Mr. Krasnow was a volunteer for SCORE,
a member of B'nai B'rith, a member of the
Jewish Community Center and a member
of Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Township.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl;
daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and
John Parrish of Westminster, S.C. Audrey
and Paul Gaynor of Evanston, Ill.; son and
daughter-in-law, Ronald Krasnow and
Ellen Semaya-Krasnow of Palo Alto, Calif.;
grandchildren, Noah, Benjamin, Julia, Jack
and Joseph.
He was the son of the late Philip and the
late Dorothy Krasnow; brother of the late
