BENNETT I. BEIM, 81, of Bloomfield
Hills, died July 19, 2008.
He is survived by his brother and
sister-in-law, Harvey and Marilyn Beim
of Bloomfield Hills; loving nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Beim was the loving son of the
late Max Beim and the late Zelda Beim;
dear brother and brother-in-law of the
late Thelma Kopel, the late Martin Kopel.

interment at Nusach Hari Cemetery.

LILLIAN BLEIER, 92,
of West Bloomfield,
died July 17, 2008. She
was an accomplished
pianist and artist.

REBECCA "BEA" KADUSHIN, 97, of
Farmington Hills, died July 17, 2008. She
was active with the bingo committee at
Congregation Beth Shalom.
Mrs. Kadushin is survived by her
daughter-in-law, Lois Kadushin of
Farmington Hills; granddaughter, Beth
Anne Kadushin.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Samuel Kadushin; the dear mother of
the late A. Donald Kadushin and the late
Larry Lee Kadushin; devoted grand-
mother of the late David Kadushin;
cherished sister of the late Ann
Yancovitch.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

SUZANNE "SUE" KNIGHT, 76, of
Franklin, died July 17, 2008.
The previous owner of Personally
Yours, she also worked for 20 years with
her husband at Leo Knight Photography
and was also a wedding planner. Mrs.
Knight was active with Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband, Leo

visit the sick and elderly when she
turned 16. "My parents said, 'Isn't that
depressing. Don't you want to do some-
thing fun with your time?' I told them
it's only depressing when no one shows
up to visit."
Now a retired educator and veteran
Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network
volunteer, Nancy dedicates her time to
visiting hospice clients, many of whom
can't communicate or respond. "I try to
add some life to the room with music or
conversation," Nancy says. "When you
see a smile on their face because they
anticipate a visitor, it is gratifying and I
feel like I'm making a difference."

THOMAS MARSHALL KRAFT, 58, of
Huntington Woods, died July 4, 2008,
in Rutland, Vt. He had been living in
Vermont since the 1970s, under treat-
ment for a longstanding illness.
Mr. Kraft was born Feb. 16, 1950, in
Detroit, son of Hannan R. and Joyce
(Pensler) Kraft. He graduated from
Cranbrook School and attended the
University of Michigan. Mr. Kraft
enjoyed playing the drums and piano.
He was an enthusiastic jazz fan who was
especially fond of Thelonious Monk and
Dave Brubeck.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce
Mark of Los Angeles, Calif.; brothers,
James Kraft of Washington, D.C., Robert
Kraft of Glenview, Ill., and Dr. William
Kraft of Hendersonville, Tenn. Mr. Kraft
was predeceased by his father in 1971.
Burial was private. Contributions
