"I try to add some life to the room with music or conversation," Nancy says. He had been living in Vermont since the 1970s, under treat- ment for a longstanding illness. Mr. Kraft was born Feb. 16, 1950, in Detroit, son of Hannan R. and Joyce (Pensler) Kraft. He graduated from Cranbrook School and attended the University of Michigan. Mr. Kraft enjoyed playing the drums and piano. He was an enthusiastic jazz fan who was especially fond of Thelonious Monk and Dave Brubeck. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Mark of Los Angeles, Calif.; brothers, James Kraft of Washington, D.C., Robert Kraft of Glenview, Ill., and Dr. William Kraft of Hendersonville, Tenn. Mr. Kraft was predeceased by his father in 1971. Burial was private.
