She was the dear sister of the
late Florence "Rencie" Shulman of
Norman.

SHIRLEY MANN, 85, of Southfield,
died March 29, 2008.
She went back to school and fin-
ished a degree in library science when
she was in her 50s. An active member
of Hadassah, she was a 50-year mem-
ber of Temple Emanu-El and was
responsible for the development of the
temple library.
She was also an active writer of
Braille.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her
daughter, Julie Kraus of Southfield;
son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and
Anita Mann of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Keith and Dulce
Mann, Donna and Mark Bauer; great-
grandchildren, Allison and Tyler
Mann, Morgan Bauer; sister, Ann
Girard.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Sidney B. Brown; the loving daughter
of the late Sadie and the late William
Kimmel; the cherished sister-in-law of
the late S. Gerald Girard and the late
Bertha Blum.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

He was a World
War II veteran and
had fought in the
invasion through V-
Matz
E Day; he was there .
to liberate Auschwitz.
With his beloved friend and partner
Jerry (Felice) Trakman, Mr. Matz
founded Miami's top court reporting
firm, Matz & Trakman. He will be
missed.
Mr. Matz is survived by his beloved
and adored wife, Loraine; beloved
children, Andrea Kronegold, Barbara
Cross (Jim); beloved brother, Morris
Matz (Pearl); nephews, Barry Matz
(Mara), Evan Matz (Lori), Bruce
Landgarten (Carol); niece, Rochelle
Kohl (Ed); grandchildren, Kimberly
Cross, Joshua Kronegold; many great-
nieces and great-nephews; stepchil-

He was the beloved brother of the
