Siden, Sara and Chanina Kam of
Holon, Israel.
Jordan attends Tappan Middle
School in Ann Arbor.

June 9. His grand-
parents are Marcy
Chudnov, Barbara Solomon and Larry
Solomon. He is also the grandchild of
the late Ben Chudnov and the great-
grandchild of the late Bernice and the
late Bernard Waxman, the late Pauline
and the late Dov Chudnov, the late
Esther and the late Meyer Dickman,
the late Rae and the late Sam Solomon.
Michael is a student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills. He
worked in the Temple Israel Library
and felt that was very meaningful as a
mitzvah project.

Jordan Daniel
Sommerfeld will
be called to the
bimah as he cel-
ebrates his bar mitz-
vah at Havdalah
services Saturday,
June
9, at Temple
Sommerfeld
Israel. His parents
are Helene Goldberg
and Avery Sommerfeld and his sister
is Mallory. Sharing in the simchah
will be his grandparents Joanne and
Morton Goldberg. He is also the great-
grandchild of the late Dora and the
late Gerald Sparr and the late Hilda
and the late Samuel Goldberg.
Jordan is a student at Geisler Middle
School in Walled Lake. He felt it was
meaningful as a mitzvah project to
assist in Temple Israel's Media Center
program for children's birthdays.

Ari Jacob Teitel, son of Andrea and
Rob Teitel and brother of Levi, will
celebrate his bar mitzvah as he reads
from the Torah at Temple Israel on
Saturday, June 9. His proud grandpar-
ents are Marlene and Charles Toby and

Sandra and Richard
Gale. He is also the
grandchild of the
late Alan Teitel.
Ari is a student
at Roeper School
in Birmingham. He
played
guitar in a
Teitel
charity event befit-
ting foster children
at the Children's Center in Detroit
and felt that was his most meaningful
mitzvah project.

Olivia Lauren
Weber will be called
to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on Saturday,
June 9, at Temple
Kol Ami. She is the
daughter of Lisa and
Dan Weber and the
Weber
sister of Jessica. Her
proud grandparents
are Roberta and Dr. Arnold Sokol and
Ann and Dr. Sidney Weber. She is also
the granddaughter of the late Martin
Albert.
Olivia is a seventh-grader at Warner
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
Her most meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect was her volunteer work at the
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.

Ethan Ezra Zavier
will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 9, at
Temple Emanu El.
He is the son of Amy
and Stuart Brozgold
and William Zavier.
Zavier
His siblings, Eric,
Michael, Chelsea,
Jaime and Kathleen will celebrate
together with Ethan. Sharing in the
joy of his bar mitzvah will be his
grandparents Rae Mucasey, John
Mucasey, Pola Zawierucha and Gloria
and Leonard Brozgold. Ethan is also
the grandson of the late and beloved
Sender Zawierucha.
Ethan is a seventh-grade student
at Norup International School in
Oak Park. For his mitzvah project, he
joined with three generations of his
family working with elder adults at the
Park at Trowbridge.
