Southfield and Lucy and Ben Corin of
Roslyn Harbor, N.Y.
Sarah is a student at Dartmouth
Middle School in North Dartmouth,
Mass. Over the course of the past
year, she has worked diligently on
helping preschoolers with speech and
motor delays in the Dartmouth Public
Schools and with children with severe
learning disabilities in a classroom
setting. She found both of these com-
mitments extremely rewarding.

Seth Myles
Feldman, son
of Julie Feldman
and the late Jeff
Feldman, will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, June 9,
Feldman
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. His brothers, Chad,
Evan, Lee and Seth, will share this
special day. He is the grandson of
Lois and Cyril Levenson, Robert
Feldman and the late Jeannette
Feldman.
Seth is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
His most meaningful mitzvah was
participating in helping to build a
sukkah at a JARC home.

Randi Cara
Garfield will be
called to the Torah
on Friday, June 8,
at Congregation
Shir Tikvah. She
is the daughter of
Donald and Elle
Garfield
Garfield and the
sister of Brian and
Kevin. Her grandparents are Sonia
Garfield and the late Sol Garfield.
Randi is a seventh-grade student
at Birmingham Covington School.
For her act of humanity, she vol-
unteered at Beaumount Pediatric
Rehabilitation in Royal Oak.

Sara Hadas
Langnas will be
called to the Torah
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
West Bloomfield,
B'nai Israel
Center on Saturday,
Langnas
June 9. She is the
daughter of Michael
and Alayna Langnas and sister of
Brian and Leah. Sharing in her sim-
chah will be her grandparents Frieda

Langnas and Irwin and Lorraine
Fenster, all of West Bloomfield. She
is also the granddaughter of the late
Joseph Langnas.
Sara is a seventh-grader at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. Her most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was collect-
ing returnable bottles and cans and
donating the proceeds to the Send a
Kid to Tamarack scholarship fund.

Sara Louise Long
will celebrate her
bat mitzvah on
Saturday, June 9,
at Temple Beth
Emeth in Ann
Arbor. She is the
daughter of Linda
Long
and Ken Long and
sister of Veronica.
Her proud grandparents are Dr.
George and Joyce Blum of Southfield
and Roger and Harriet Long of
Portage.
Sara attends Slauson Middle School
in Ann Arbor. As part of her mitzvot,
she helps weekly with the youth choir
at temple.

Riley
Indianapolis, Ind. He
is the son of Allyson
and Randy Riley and the older broth-
er of Megan. Proud grandmothers are
Sandy (Imber) Moore of Franklin and
Gail Riley of Portage, Ind.

Evan Blake Ruby
will read from the
Torah at Temple
Israel on Saturday,
June 9, as he cele-
brates his bar mitz-
vah. He is the son of
Gail and Gary Ruby
Ruby
and the brother of
Austin. His grand-
parents are Linda Arens and Rhoda
Ruby.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, Evan
helped build a sukkah at a JARC
home and felt it was an especially
meaningful mitzvah project.
