udy and Jon Desenberg of Huntington
Woods are happy to announce the
engagement of their son Jon Meyer to
Rebecca Anne Hewitt, daughter of Michele
and Mike Hewitt of Reed City Mich.
Jon earned his bachelor of arts in political
science from the University of Michigan and
a juris doctor from American University
Washington College of Law. He is the con-
sulting director at the Performance Institute,
a think tank in Washington, D.C.
Rebecca earned her bachelor of arts in
psychology from the University of Michigan.
She is a database analyst at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
The couple plan an October wedding in Traverse City, after which they will
reside in Washington, D.C.

of their children Dr. Nicole Kilian and Jack
Bishko.
Nicky is the granddaughter of Elaine and
Frank Killian of Neenah, Wis. She graduated
from Albion College and Kirksville College
of Osteopathic Medicine and is employed
by Northside Hospital and Health in St.
Petersburg, Fla.
Jack is the grandson of Betty and Bill Litt.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and got a master's in sta-
tistics from University of Florida in Gainesville. He is assistant vice president of
strategy research and development for Fidelity National Information Services in
St. Petersburg.
A late September wedding is planned in Tampa, Fla.

son Daniel to Desiree VanRosendale, daugh-
ter of the late Ava VanRosendale.
Daniel graduated the University of
Michigan with a bachelor of science degree
in astronomy and astrophysics and earned
a master of science degree in geosciences
from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
He is a research associate at the Planetary
Science Institute in Tucson, studying the
planet Mars.
Desiree attends the University of Phoenix,
working toward a bachelor of science in business and management. She is a
senior assistant manager for Ann Taylor Loft in Tucson.
A wedding on Captiva Island in Florida is scheduled.
