BETTY A. HOLTZMAN, of
Royal Oak, died Feb. 28, 2007. She
is survived by her sister, Shirleen
Agress of Miami, Fla.; loving nieces
and nephews, Al and Donna Baron
of Plano, Texas, Eve Pinder of
Miami, Fla., Ellen and Mark Kalish
of Houston, Texas, Fran Plushner of
Los Angeles; numerous grand- and
great-grandnieces and nephews in
California, Texas, New York and the
Bahamas. She was the loving sister
of the late Rochelle H. Baron and
the late May Perlman.
Contributions may be made to
a charity of one's choice. Services
and interment at Hebrew Memorial
Park. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

FRIEDA SHEVITZ ILAN, of
Kibbutz Afikim, Israel, died Feb. 26,
2007. She was formerly of Detroit
but settled in Israel in the 1930's
and was one of the founding pio-
neers of Kibbutz Afikim.
Mrs. Ilan is survived by her three
children, grandchildren, great-
grandchildren and family members
in the Detroit area. She was the
beloved wife of the late Benny Ilan.
Interment in Israel. Contributions
may be made to the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's
Alliance for Jewish Education.

EDWIN R. IROFF, 71, of Oak
Park, died March 2, 2007.
He is survived by cousins,
Marcia and Arnold Tanzman of
Boca Raton, Fla.; caregivers, Sherie
Walker and Shosnana Rubenstein;
his JARC family and friends. He
was the beloved son of the late
Louis and the late Gertrude Iroff;
loving nephew of the late Lillian
and the late Leo Waldman.
Interment at Beth Tefilo Emanuel
