called to the bimah on Saturday,
Nov. 12, as he celebrates his bar
mitzvah at
Temple Israel.
His parents are
Louise and
Brian Hacker

Alison. Sharing
the simchah
Hacker
will be his
grandparents
Thelma Marshall and Gladys
Hacker. He is also the grandchild
of the late Martin Marshall and
the late William Hacker and the
great-grandchild of the late Sara
and Alexander Weiss.
An eighth grade student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield, Daniel raised
funds for the Red Cross for relief
of Hurricane Katrina victims as
one of his mitzvah projects.

Taylor is a student at Detroit
country day School in Beverly
Hills. Her favorite mitzvah proj-
ect was participating in the
SPARK program, where she had
the opportunity to spend time
with seniors at the Jewish
Community Center.

Nov. 11. He is
the grandson of
Ruth Parnes.
He is also the
grandchild of

Parnes

late Sally and Edward Pacernick.
A student at Sashabaw Middle
School in Clarkston, Jacob found
it very meaningful to donate
funds to the Israel Guide Dog
Center for the Blind as one of his
many mitzvah projects.
