IRVING GREENBERG, 91, of
Southfield, died Oct. 28, 2005.
An original owner of Plaza Deli,
he previously had been a linen
driver for Domestic Linen. Mr.
Greenberg was in the military
police in
Europe during
World War II.
He became a
major in the
Southfield
Emergency
Police Reserve
and was also a
youth officer
for the city of Detroit.
Mr. Greenberg is survived by
his wife of 65 years, Ruth
Greenberg of Southfield; sons
and daughters-in-law, Nathan
and Barbara Greenberg of Mt.
Prospect, Ill., Ronald and Sheryl
Greenberg of West Bloomfield,

Oak Park; grandchildren,

Kimberly and Matthew Maheu,
