IRVING GREENBERG, 91, of Southfield, died Oct. 28, 2005. An original owner of Plaza Deli, he previously had been a linen driver for Domestic Linen. Mr. Greenberg was in the military police in Europe during World War II. He became a major in the Southfield Emergency Police Reserve and was also a youth officer for the city of Detroit. Mr. Greenberg is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Greenberg of Southfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Barbara Greenberg of Mt. Prospect, Ill., Ronald and Sheryl Greenberg of West Bloomfield, Sanford and Ellen Greenberg of Oak Park; grandchildren, Amanda Greenberg, Rebecca Greenberg, Matthew and Jodi Greenberg, Michael Greenberg, Kimberly and Matthew Maheu, Jason Greenberg, Hilary Greenberg; great-grandchildren, Brendan Greenberg, Zachery Maheu, Ashlyn Maheu, Jordan Greenberg; brothers and sisters- in-law, Joe and Rosalie Greenberg of Farmington Hills, Frank and Maybelline Greenberg of Oak Park; sisters, Anne Katkowsky of Florida, Hilda Onofrey of Livonia; sister-in-law, Louise Greenberg.
