GERALDINE GRANT, 80, of
Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of
Southfield, died Sept. 25, 2005.
She is survived by her sons,
Steven and Richard of
Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter and
son-in-law, Nancy Grant and
Gerald Button of Delray Beach;
sister, Edythe Mazur of Oak Park.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Sy Grant.

MURIEL JACKNOW, 81, of
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 29,
2005. She was a volunteer at the
Detroit Institute of Arts, member
of the board of governors of
American
Technion
Society,
board mem-
ber of the
Michigan
Opera
Theatre,
member of
Jacknow
Hadassah,
Women's
American ORT, the National
Council of Jewish Women and
was a clown each year at the
Thanksgiving Day Parade. In
addition, Mrs. Jacknow was a
world traveler and a member of
Nomads and Circum-Navigators.
Mrs. Jacknow is survived by
her son, Dr. Alan Jacknow of Los
Angeles; daughters and sons-in-
law, Lisa and Frank Ellias of
Farmington Hills, Amy Jacknow
and L. Jeffrey Zauberman of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Jared, Aaron and Matthew Ellias
and David Zauberman. She was
the beloved wife of the late Dr.
David Jacknow; dear sister of the
late Rose Shless.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made
to David and Muriel Jacknow
