American ORT, the National
Council of Jewish Women and
was a clown each year at the
Thanksgiving Day Parade. In
addition, Mrs. Jacknow was a
world traveler and a member of
Nomads and Circum-Navigators.
Mrs. Jacknow is survived by
her son, Dr. Alan Jacknow of Los
Angeles; daughters and sons-in-
law, Lisa and Frank Ellias of
Farmington Hills, Amy Jacknow
and L. Jeffrey Zauberman of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Jared, Aaron and Matthew Ellias
and David Zauberman. She was
the beloved wife of the late Dr.
David Jacknow; dear sister of the
late Rose Shless.
