She was a volunteer at the Detroit Institute of Arts, member of the board of governors of American Technion Society, board mem- ber of the Michigan Opera Theatre, member of Jacknow Hadassah, Women's American ORT, the National Council of Jewish Women and was a clown each year at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. In addition, Mrs. Jacknow was a world traveler and a member of Nomads and Circum-Navigators. Mrs. Jacknow is survived by her son, Dr. Alan Jacknow of Los Angeles; daughters and sons-in- law, Lisa and Frank Ellias of Farmington Hills, Amy Jacknow and L.
