daughter of Sandy and Eric Nelkin
and sister of Tyler. Sharing in the
joy of the celebration will be her
grandfather Herb
Wasserman and
grandparents Edna
and Marvin
Nelkin. She is also
the granddaughter
of the late Thelma
Wasserman.

dent at Warner

Middle School in
Farmington Hills.
For her mitzvah projects, she donat-
ed part of her winnings as a junior
dragster to charitable organizations
and she participates with the Meals
on Wheels program.
Zachary Herbert Rollins will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Sept. 17, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. He is the son of Dr.
Susan Wainwright Rollins and
Thomas Rollins and the grandson of
Joyce and Robert
Wainwright and
the late Shirley
and Herbert
Rollins.
Zachary is an
honor student at
Cranbrook
Kingswood
Middle School in
Rollins
Bloomfield Hills.
He enjoyed volun-
teering at Fleischman Senior
Residence in West Bloomfield as
part of his mitzvah projects, as well
as donating funds to and volunteer-
ing at Yad Ezra in Berkley.
Liana Mariel Rosenbloom (Avigayl
Shoshana), daughter of Darlene
Rosenbloom and Ray Rosenbloom,
will be called to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 17, at
Congregation Shir Tikvah. Her
proud grandpar-
ents are Annabel
and Samuel
Rosenbloom and
Ellen and Frank
Zyngier.
Liana is an
honor student at
Cranbrook
Rosenbloom
Kingswood Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills. The focus of her
mitzvah projects was to make kennel
blankets for pets at the Humane
Society as well as donate food and
toys. She also collected used cell
phones, which were donated to help
abused women and children; and
she volunteered her time at the SOS
program when it came to Shir
Tikvah.
