Alec is in seventh grade at Francis
W. Parker School. For his mitzvah
project, he taught basketball to
autistic children from Keshet. He
also participated in building a house
in Ensenada, Mexico, through
YWAM Homes of Hope.

Eric Aleman will read from the

Israel Saturday,
Sept. 17. He is the
son of Lynn and
Jeff Aleman and
the brother of
Jason. Sharing the
simchah will be

Eric is a student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. As part
of his mitzvah projects, he partici-
pated in Kever Avot, volunteered at
Yad Ezra in Berkley and did various
Boy Scout community projects.
Jenna Melissa Blanck, daughter of
Roz and Stanford Blanck, will cele-
brate her bat mitz-
vah at Temple
Israel Friday, Sept.
16. She is the sis-
ter of Lisa and
Adam. Her grand-

Jenna is an honor student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. As part of her
mitzvah projects, she volunteered at
Farmington Hills-based JARC,
helped at Bookstock and raised
funds for ALYN Hospital in
Jerusalem.
Elliott Bryan Disner will be called
to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah
Saturday, Sept. 17,
at Temple Beth
El. He will be
joined by his

Elliott is an honor student at
Berkshire Middle School in Beverly
Hills. For his mitzvah project, he
volunteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley,
packing, sorting and distributing
food; at the Arden House, entertain-
ing senior residents on Christmas
Day; at the Bear Hug Foundation
fair and at Temple Beth El's Purim
carnival.
Stephanie Ann Korn will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
Saturday, Sept. 17, at Congregation
Beth Shalom, during Havdalah
services. She is the
daughter of Sheryl
and Richard Korn
and sister of Brad.
Her proud grand-

She is also the

Stephanie
attends East
Middle School in Farmington Hills,

volunteered with American House
