chah will be grandparents Anita Luger,
Vivian and Irving Stollman, aunts and
uncles, cousins and friends.
Ben is a student at Yeshivat Akiva in
Southfield. Some of his mitzvah projects
have included visits to nursing homes,
volunteering at Yad Ezra for the Passover

of Southfield will
become bar mitz-
vah at
Birmingham
Temple Friday,
May 27.
Participating will
be his parents,
Carrie and Steven
MacDonald. Proud grandparents are
Irene and Fred Garon of West
Bloomfield and Gordon MacDonald,
also of West Bloomfield. Loving memo-
ry is given to Jake's grandfather Dick
Stein and his grandmother Molly
MacDonald.
Jake is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. His
mitzvah projects include assisting at
temple events, book collection and
donation to Detroit schools and to the
Behcet's Association.

Hannah Lynne Miller, daughter of
Lori and Owen Miller and sister of
Erin, will read from the Torah at her
bat mitzvah Saturday, May 28, at

Temple Israel. Her
grandparents are
Miriam and Lewis
Davis and Bobbie
(Naomi) Miller.
She is also the
grandchild of the
late Harry Miller.
An honor stu-
dent at Walled
Lake Middle School, Hannah cut 10
inches of her hair to donate to Locks
of Love, participated at a First Step
Shelter Party and helped at Temple
Israel's Labor Day picnic as part of her
mitzvah projects.

Aaron Stuart
Pickover will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, May 28,
at Congregation
Beth Shalom. He is
the son of Wendy
and Glen Pickover.
His proud grand-
parents are Gerald Pickover and
Joanna and Eli Berger. He is also the
grandson of the late Marilyn Pickover.

Temple Israel. He is
the grandson of Jerry
Weisberg and Joy
Polk. He is also the
grandchild of the
late Rosalind
Weisberg and the
late John Polk. His proud great-grand-
mother is Eva Weiner.
Justin is an honor student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit. As
part of his mitzvah experience, he
walked in Gilda's Walk, volunteered
with JARC residents and donated to the
Florida Relief Fund.
