ANNIE SCIMENS, 85, of

Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Detroit,
died April 26, 2005. She moved from
Detroit to Florida 50 years ago and
worked side by side with her husband
of 64 years in the home building busi-
ness, Scimens Development.
She is survived by her husband of
64 years, Louis Scimens; sister-in-law,
Shana Baker, Phillis Fadie, Florence
Scimens; brother-in-law, Mike
Scimens.

VIOLET WEISBERGER PASTOR,

85, former Detroiter of Florida, died
on April 8, 2005. In Florida, she was
president of Bnai Zion Chapter 186
for well over 20 years, working to raise
funds for projects in Israel.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, James and Pati
Mitchell; grandchildren, Chase and
Brandy; daughter, Kalee Rita; dear sis-
ter, Lilly Farkas of West Bloomfield.
She was the loving wife of the late
Murry Weisberger and the late
Alexander Pastor; sister of the late
Tibor Fekete.
Interment at Menorah Gardens in
Broward County. Contributions may
be made to support the Ibi Pastor
Room at the Bnai Zion Medical
Center in Haifa; send them to Bnai
