Jewish Family Service is a pri-
vate, non-profit social service
agency with offices in
Southfield and West Bloomfield
which has provided social and
mental health services to mem-
bers of the Jewish and general
community for 75 years.
Included within these services
are the reception, resettlement
and integration of new
Americans into the community.
IFS programs and services
address the changing needs of
individuals and the changing
nature of the family and the
community. Our staff deals with
a range of issues from changing
family dynamics to addiction
recovery to the provision of
emergency shelter and support
to indigent and homeless peo-
ple. We serve more than 12,000
clients annually In addition to
our professional staff of master's
level social workers and case
managers, JFS utilizes the
expertise of some 500 active
volunteers whose combined
efforts total some 12,000 hours
of service each year.
