DOROTHY KORCHAK, 86, of
Bloomfield Hills, died March 16,
2005. She was a member of Women's
American ORT and Hadassah.
Mrs. Korchak is survived by sons and
daughters-in-law, Martin and Bonnie
Korchak of Birmingham, Jerome and
Cynthia Korchak of West Bloomfield;
daughter and son-in-law, Randie and
Charles Federman of Bloomfield Hills;
grandchildren, Paul and Tamara
Korchak, Jeremy Korchak, Meghan
Korchak, Emma Korchak, Maxwell
Federman, Ross Federman; great-grand-
children, Ian Korchak, Olivia Maly and
Addison Maly. She was the beloved wife
for 36 years of the late Meyer Korchak;
devoted grandmother of the late
Andrew Korchak; loving sister of the
late Edna Bornstein Martin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

HARRY LEVIN, 83, of Oak Park,
died March 27, 2005. The owner of
Cadet Distributing, a phonograph
record distributor in Oak Park on
Capital Street for over 40 years, he was
an Army MP in the Philippines during
World War II.
Mr. Levin is survived by his daugh-
ter, Marda. Levin of Oak Park; sons,
Steve Levin and-Jerry Levin; grand-
children, Staci and Dusty Dial and
Leslie and Kevin Brown; great-grand-
son, Zachary Brown. He was the
beloved husband of the late Rhoda
Levin; devoted brother of the late
Ruth Singer and the late Isadore Levin.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

W. Maple Road, Suite #500, West
Bloomfield, MI 48322. Arrangements

DORIS MACMURRAY, 78, of
Florida, died March 23, 2005.
She is survived by her husband,
Bruce MacMurray of St. Petersburg,
Fla.; daughters and a son-in-law,

Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Barry MacMurray
of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren,

BEN MERMELSTEIN, 86, of
Southfield, died March 26, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Ida
Mermelstein; friend, Charles. A. Haas
of Livonia.

MAURICE JACK NOBLE, 83, of
Southfield, died March 25, 2005. He
was born in Rochester, N.Y. and was a
World War II veteran, having served as a
sergeant in communications in
Germany under Gen. George Patton in
the 3rd Calvary. After the war, he joined
the teamsters for 20 years and in 1963
founded the M.J. Noble Company, an
engraving and awards business. He was a
member of the Jewish War Veterans and
a past commander
of the Oak Park
Post.
Mr. Noble was a
founding member
of the Oak Park
Community
Council and a long-
time member of the
Oak Park Auxiliary
Noble
Police. He was the
first Parade Marshall
of the Oak Park 4th of July parades.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Ann Noble; son, Joel Noble of
Southfield; daughters, Janice Zeldes of
West Bloomfield, Judy Noble of
Southfield; one brother; three sisters.
He was the father-in-law of the late
David Zeldes.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

RUTH PALITZ, former Detroiter of
Beverly Hills, Calif, died March 17,
2005.
She is survived by her children,
Michael, Mark and Beth Blair; six
grandchildren. She was the daughter
of the late Frieda and Joseph Milgrom;
wife of the late Larry Palitz.
