MAURICE JACK NOBLE, 83, of Southfield, died March 25, 2005. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. and was a World War II veteran, having served as a sergeant in communications in Germany under Gen. George Patton in the 3rd Calvary. After the war, he joined the teamsters for 20 years and in 1963 founded the M.J. Noble Company, an engraving and awards business. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and a past commander of the Oak Park Post. Mr. Noble was a founding member of the Oak Park Community Council and a long- time member of the Oak Park Auxiliary Noble Police. He was the first Parade Marshall of the Oak Park 4th of July parades. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Noble; son, Joel Noble of Southfield; daughters, Janice Zeldes of West Bloomfield, Judy Noble of Southfield; one brother; three sisters.
