greens. "Plastic and terra cotta con-
tainers crack and break in cold tem-
peratures," Rowley said. "Use foam,
concrete or stone for winter plant-
ing."
Rowley handed each person a pot,
and each selected three plants.
"Stick with all herbs or all flowers,"
Rowley advised. "Choose colors,
