The ALEX J. ETKIN Leadership Award was endowed in 1998
by Douglas and Judy Etkin to honor Mr. Etkin's long-standing commitment to secure the future of
Israel through his support of the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology. Mr. Etkin, a
Founding officer of the Detroit ATS Chapter, is an Honorary Fellow of the Technion.
Together with his wife Toby, he is a Technion Guardian.

Etkin Award recipients have shown distinguished service to the Detroit ATS Chapter. Previous
awardees include Richard Blumenstein, Marta Rosenthal, Scott Leemaster, and Jerry Kanter.
