Allison Peri Berman will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah Saturday,
Aug. 28, at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. Sharing in the
simchah will be her parents, Drs. Julie
and Allen Berman, brother Michael
and sister Stephanie. Proud grandpar-
ents are Norma and Jack Berman of
Farmington Hills. She is also the
granddaughter of
the late Dr. Fredric
and Gloria Rivkin.
Allison is an
honor student at
Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield.
Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah project
was participating in
and collecting money for the annual
AIDS Walk of Metropolitan Detroit.

worked on a literacy project for the
schools.
Justin Gabriel Cykiert, son of Jay and
Heather Cykiert and brother of
Denise and Ryan, will celebrate his
bar mitzvah Saturday, Aug. 28, at
Congregation Beth Ahm. He is the
grandson of Shirley Arnold and _
Shirley Cykiert and great-grandson of
Morris and Sarah

the grandson of the
late Walter Cykiert.

Farmington Hills.
As part of his mitz-
vah projects, he worked at a JARC
home in West Bloomfield and at Yad
Ezra in Berkley. He will make dona-
tions to his favorite charities in honor
of his bar mitzvah.
Arid Nicole Feldman will celebrate
her bat mitzvah Friday, Aug. 27, at
Temple Israel. Her parents are Marcy
and Steven Feldman. She is the sister
of Samantha and Ryann. Her grand-
parents are Millie and Mort Feldman,
Linda Goldberg and Harold
