RONALD L. SPECTOR, 62, of

Sarasota Fla., formerly of Detroit, died
Dec. 18, 2003. He graduated from
Michigan State University and the
Detroit College of Law. He was a
member of the State Bar of Michigan.
In Florida, Mr. Spector developed
the Gulf `N Bay - Condominiums in
Venice, the Beach Way Condominium
on Siesta Key and River Walk Mobile
Home Village in North Port.
In addition, Mr. Spector was treas-
urer of the Association of Downtown
Property Owners and former director
of the Tiger Bay Club, Chamber of
Commerce and Sarasota County
Public School Foundation. He was
also chairman of the
Argus Foundation,
former advisory board
chairman of the First
Florida Bank of
Sarasota, a past mem-
ber of the Kiwanis
Club an a member of
Spector
the Field Club.
He is survived by
his wife, Heather F. Spector; daughter,
Hannah Spector; sons, George
Spector, Sam Spector; mother, Bessie
Spector of West Bloomfield; sisters
and brothers-in-law, Betty Marie and
Louis Chernoff of Birmingham,
Florence and Paul Davidson of West
Bloomfield. He was the beloved son of
the late George Spector.
Services and interment in Sarasota.
This announcement was placed at the
request of the family by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

NATHAN STEIN, 97, of Southfield,

died Dec. 21, 2003.
He is survived by his daughters and
sons-in-law, Harriet and Leon Simon
of West Bloomfield, Bernice and
Albert Yendick of Livonia; brother and
sisters-in-law, Henry and Lil Stein of
Toronto, Ontario, Doris Stein of
Toronto, Bertha Stein; brother-in-law,
Henry Wagman of Toronto; grandchil-
dren, Andrea and Larry Mendelson,
Shari Simon, Shelly and Arnold
Podolsky, Debbie Silverman; great-
grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney,
Sarah, Jared, Taylor, Darin, Jake. He
was the beloved husband of the late
Sally Stein; dear brother of the late
Irving Stein, the late Harry Stein, the
late Ely Stein, the late Ruby Stein; the
late Sam Stein; the late Millie
Abramovitz, the late Rose Wagman,
the late Lil Swartz, the late Leah
Resnick; dear brother-in-law of the
late Shirley Stein, the late Belle Stein,
the late Benny Abramovitz, the late

Moe Swartz, the late Sol Resnick, the
late Myna Stein; loving grandfather of
the late Michael Yendick.
Contributions may be made to

charity of one's choice. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements

LEON HAROLD STERN, 75, for-

mer Detroiter of Dallas, Texas, died
Dec. 23, 2003. He graduated from the
University of Michigan and served in
the Marine Corps from 1951-1953.
He moved to Texas in 1958, where he
had interests in banking, land develop-
ment and leasing companies.
Mr. Stern is survived by his beloved
wife of 29 years, Anabel Strelfox Stern;
five children; four grandchildren. He
was the son of the late Irving and
Gertrude Stern; brother of the late
Harriet Stern Baker.
A memorial gathering was held at
the family home in Dallas.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice.

SANTIAGO HARRY STOCKER,

10, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Dec.
12, 2003.
He is survived by his father, former
Detroiter Richard Stocker; sister,
Coirina Stocker; grandfather, Dr.
Lawrence Stocker.
Condolences may be sent to the

Albuquerque, NM 87108.

PHILIP STROSBERG, 86, of

Windsor, died Dec. 17, 2003. He was
a chemical engineering graduate of
Wayne State University and spent his
career in the paint manufacturing
business.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Sylvia (Moretsky) of Windsor; son and
daughter-in-law, Harvey and Cathy
Strosberg of Windsor; daughters, Teri
Prince of North Carolina, Susan
Eansor of New York; brother, Gordon
Strosberg of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Elaine, Sharon and Jay
Strosberg, Marni and Franklin Lyons,
David Robins. He was the dear broth-
er of the late Maurice Strosberg.
Services at the Rochel Kaplan
Hebrew Memorial Chapel. Interment
at Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery in
