JULIE SHIFFMAN, 49, of
Southfield, died Dec. 26, 2003. She
was a vocational rehabilitation special-
ist and worked for JVS and Kemper
Insurance. She received her undergrad-
uate degree at Denver University and
her master's degree at Wayne State
University. Ms. Shiffman was a sup-
porter of lung transplant patients
through Gift of Life (Transplantation
Society of Michigan).
Ms. Shiffman is survived by her
partner, Gary Kline; mother, Alfrieda
"Freddy" Shiffman of Bloomfield
Hills; sister and brother-in-law, Susan
and Bruce Gershenson of Franklin.
She was the beloved daughter of the
late Victor Shiffman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
