Crisis).
Mrs. Hordes is sur-

was the beloved wife of the late Earl
Hordes and the late Harry Rovin.

died Nov. 8, 2002. He was a production
engineer for Packard Motors and Chrysler
Corporation. He was also a member of
B'nai B'rith, a past president of Israel
Lodge and a member of Perfection Lodge
F & AM.
Mr. Kahn is survived by his wife, Kay
Kahn; son and daughter-in-law, Harvey
and Audrey Kahn of West Bloomfield;
daughter, Barbara Brodsky of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, - Stacie Kahn,
Amy and Paul Sarris, Jennifer Kahn,
Martin Brodsky, Audrey and Darren
Goldberg, Nikki and Jason Gartrell; great-
granddaughter, Baillie Sarris; brother-in-
law and sisters-in-law, Louis and Mary
Blitz and Frances Sonne. He was the lov-
ing father of the late Sharon Anita Kahn;
dear father-in-law of the late Sanford
Brodsky.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

FREDELYN KAUFMAN KANTER, 84,
former Detroiter of Palm Beach Gardens,
Fla., died Nov. 5. She was a past president
of the Hadassah Chapter of Miami
Shores, Fla. She and her late husband
were founding members of the Tarn
O'Shanter Country Club in West
Bloomfield. She was also an ardent sports-
woman.
Mrs. Kanter is survived by her children,
Lauren Kanter of Palm Beach Gardens,
Jeffrey and Joyce Kanter of Moon
Township, Pa.; grandchildren, Justin and
Jennifer Kanter; brother and sister-in-law,
