DAVID RUSSELL, 83, of Oak Park,
died April 8 in San Diego. He was a
partisan fighter during the Holocaust
years and after the war went to Israel.
He came to the United States in 1960,
settling in Oak Park.
He is survived by his
beloved wife, Pola; son,
Dr. Jacob Russell of San
Diego; daughter, Bela
Bernard of Los Angeles;
brothers and sisters-in-law,
Sol and Bronia Russell of
Los Angeles, Izzy and
Sima Rubinstein of Los
Angeles, Al Russell of Southfield; grand-
daughter, Heather Russell of San Diego.
Interment in San Diego.
LENA REBECCA SHEAR, 97, of
Oak Park, died March 28.
She is survived by her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Stanley and Lenora Shear of
Philadelphia; daughter and son-in-law,
Betty and Harold Josephs of Oak Park;
brother, Robert Siegel of Arizona;
grandchildren, Tzril and Velvel Salel,
Fayga and Yehoshua Ellis, Nacham and
Malcha Josephs, Meira and Reuvain
Hochster, Zev and Shera Josephs; many
loving great-grandchildren. She was the
beloved wife of the late Louis Shear.

DR. ERNESTO SINGMAN, 76, of
Buenos Aires, Argentina, died April 2.
He is survived by his wife, Tita
Singman; sons and daughters-in-law,
Jorge and Beth Singman of West
Bloomfield, Roberto and Celina
Singman of Buenos Aires; grandchil-
dren, Leah, Noah and Jonah Singman.
DR. EDWARD M. STEMPEL, 81,
formerly of Huntington Woods of
Evanston, Ill., died April 3. He was a
graduate of the University of Chicago
and Northewestern University Medical
School. He was also a life member of
the American Psychoanalytic
Association.
Dr. Stempel is survived by his beloved
wife, Roslyn (Kahn) Stempel; children,
Laura and Pen Engelbrecht, Bill and
Ann Stempel, Jan and Ross Patronsky;
grandchildren, Adam Li.ndbeck
Stempel, Daniel Patronsky, Ariana
Stempel; sister, Ruth Cohen.

RANDY STOLLER 50, formerly of
Southfield of Aventura, Fla., died
March 26.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years,
Karen (Benyas); daughters and son-in-
law, Rachel Stoller, Elisa and Danny
Olson; son and daughter-in-law, Jason
and Mariela Stoller; parents, Sandy and
Ray Stoller; sister and brother-in-law,
Candi and Ron Sherman; mother-in-
