SIDNEY FREED, 93, of Lauderdale
Lakes, Fla., died April 6.
He is survived by his wife, Eva
Corman Freed; stepson and stepdaugh-
ter-in-law, Michael and Carol Corman;
stepdaughter, Lois Corman of Novi;
daughter-in-law, Judy Freed; grandchil-
dren, Stephanie Glazer, Bruce Corman,
Amy Corman, Scott Corman, Bradley
and Melissa Hammerstein. Mr. Freed
was the loving father of the late Jerry
Freed and the late Donald Freed.

GERALD GENE GROSSMAN 67, of
Peoria, Ariz., died April 2. He served in
the Second Army cavalry in Germany
1957-59.
Mr. Grossman was a data processing
manager and systems analyst. In 1989,
he founded American Laser Tech. In
addition, he was a member of the
Jewish War Veterans and participated
with the Fifth Michigan Regimental
Band in the color guard.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen;
sons, Eric, Bruce, Michael.
Services and burial were private.

SUGAR PLASKO PERLMUTER
HANISH, 76, former Detroiter of
Louisville, Ky., died March 19.
She is survived by her son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. Mark and Marcie
Perelmuter; daughter, Sharon
Nussbaum; grandsons, Scott
Nussbaum, Stuart and Tod Perelmuter,
all of Louisville; brother, Joe Plasko of
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. She was the
wife of the late Sol Perelmuter and the
late Ralph Hanish.
MARK R. HOFF, 47, formerly of
Michigan of Sarasota, Fla. He was an
ophthalmologist who earned his degree
at the University of Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of
Sarasota; parents, Morris and Sara Hoff
of Delray, Fla.; daughter, Chelsey
Rebecca Hoff of Sarasota; son, Zachary
David Hoff of Sarasota; brothers, Steven
of Sarasota and Philip of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Interment at Temple Beth Shalom
Cemetery in Sarasota. Arrangements by

MARVIN MAZUR, 75, of Oak Park,
died April 7. He was the owner and
president of Westside Distributors, a
member of Congregation Beth Shalom
and a past president of Rex Lodge of
B'nai B'rith.
Mr. Mazur is survived by his wife of
53 years, Edythe Mazur; sons and
daughters-in-law, Elliott and Linda
Mazur of California, Glenn and
Mayumi Mazur of Ann Arbor, Jeffrey
and Lynne Mazur of California; grand-
children, Cynthea, Ken, Michael,
Jonathan and Jessica Mazur; sisters,
Stella Siegel of New York and Lillian
Schwartz of Maryland.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
