HARVEY E. SCHATZ, 75, of West

Bloomfield, died Feb. 23. He was a
management consultant and partner of
Touche-Ross for 30 years and principal
for 10 years of Jay Alix and Associates.
He was also a past president of
Knollwood Country Club, board mem-
ber of Temple Beth El. In 1945, he was
class president of Central High School
and was a 1950 graduate of the
University of Michigan.
Mr. Schatz is survived by his wife,
Suzanne Schatz; son and daughter-in
law, Mark Schatz and Amy Peele of
California; daughter and son-in-law,
Andrea Schatz and Zachary Nathan of
San Francisco; Suzanne's children, Lisa
and Steven Goldberg of West
Bloomfield, David and Beth Gans of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren, Gracie
and Bennett Schatz, Perry, Ian and Jolie
Goldberg, Jamie and Chad Gans; broth-
er and sister-in-law, Fred and Enid
Schatz of West Bloomfield; sister and
brother-in-law, Suzanne and Leo Knight
of Franklin; mother-in-law, Ida Winnick;

and Richard Friedman. He was the dear
