died Feb. 25. He was a teacher at a voca-
tional school in Russia.

Volfovich.

PHILIP GORODKIN, 93, of
Southfield, died Feb. 23.
He is survived by his daughter, Elaine
Rosen of Southfield; grandchildren, Amy

Emily Barber, Alec Barber, Zachary
Rosen, Jacob Rosen. Mr. Gorodkin was
the beloved husband of the late Ida
Gorodkin; loving father of the late
Lawrence Gorodkin.

EDNA M. GREENWALD, 92, of
Southfield, died Feb. 23. She was a social
worker for the city of Detroit. She
received her -master's degree in social
work from the University of Michigan,
was a volunteer with Beth Elders and at ,
the gift shop at Temple Beth El. Mrs.
Greenwald was a member of the
Weaver's Guild, taught piano and was an
avid card player.
Mrs. Greenwald is
survived by her son,
David Greenwald of
Southfield and his
companion, Fannie
Larkins; grandchil-
dren, Sean and Sonya
Larkins; two great-
grandchildren. She
Edna Greenwald
was the beloved wife
of the late Dr. Milton
Greenwald.
