She is survived by her daughters and

Julie Harris, Lawrence and Joanne

Barnett was the beloved wife of the late
Harry Barnett.

I. EDWARD BEAN, 90, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 19. He was a
clothing salesman and a member of
B'nai B'rith Pisgah Lodge.
He is survived by his sister-in-law,
Shirley Bean of California; nieces and
nephews, Dr. Barry and Renee Bean,
Tedd and Barbara Bean, David Bean,
Stuart and Nancy Bean, Barbara Bean;
great-nieces and great-nephews, Marla,
Emily, Julie, Ryan and Meghan Bean,
Ryan and Erin Bolton. He was the lov-
ing son of the late Samuel and Edith
Bean.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

ZEE CHUSID BERNSTEIN, 79, of
Southfield, died Feb. 23. She was a pro-
fessional interior designer. Mrs.
Bernstein was a life member of
Hadassah, a volunteer at Sinai Hospital,
a worker at the annual Brandeis book
sale. She was also a community activist
and participant in trips to Washington,
D.C., to support women's rights to
choose. In addition, she was a strong
supporter of Soviet Jewry.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band, Raymond J. Bernstein; sons and
daughter-in-law, Barry L. Bernstein of
Indianapolis, Ind., Mark H. Bernstein of
Los Angeles, Kennith A. and Betty
Bernstein of West Bloomfield; sister and
brother-in-law, Mary "Mike" and
Gerald Snitz of Sarasota, Fla.; grand-
daughters, Anastasia Austen, Deana
(Matthew) Young, Stacee Bernstein; sis-
ter-in-law, Muriel Hendricks.

celebrated 30 years in business.
