LENA RASKIN, 96, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Feb. 3. She received her mas-
ter's degree in education from the
University of Michigan.
Mrs. Raskin is survived by her daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Sandra and Kenneth
Klein; grandchildren, Lori Shapiro,
Theresa Guillien, Kittie Fairbrother;
great-grandchildren, Danielle, Carly,
Elysia; brother and sister-in-law, Sid and
Yvonne Millinoff and daughter-in-law,
Anne Raskin. She was the loving moth-
er of the late Lloyd Raskin.

DR. SAMUEL REISMAN, 85, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Jan. 29. He was a
retired general surgeon. Dr. Reisman
was a 1940 graduate of Wayne State
University Medical School and for many
years was chief of surgery at North
Detroit General Hospital, on staff at
Sinai Hospital and Grace Hospital. He
was a member of Perfection Lodge, as a
32nd degree Mason, and belonged to
the Jewish War Veterans.
Dr. Reisman is survived by his daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Toni and Robert
Bader of Indiana, Shelley Paine of
Nashville, Linda and Rob Goodsmit of
West Bloomfield; sons and daughters-
in-law, Douglas and Fran Reisman of
Colorado, Dr. Michael and Karen
Reisman of Florida; 15 grandchildren;
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. David and
Yvonne Reisman of Dallas; sister-in-law,
Malverne Reisman. He was the beloved
