CELIA BERNSTEIN KRITCHMAN,

97, of West Bloomfield, died Jan, 25.
She is survived by her daughters and
son-in-law, Lois Winsen of California,
Carol and Dr. Jay Bernstein of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, David
Winsen, Janet Williams, Julia and
Richard Carson, John Bernstein,
Michael and Harriette Bernstein;
great-grandchildren, Jordan Winsen,
Samuel Carson, Jacob and Alexander
Bernstein; sister, Irene Bean of West
Bloomfield. Mrs. Kritchman was the
beloved wife of the late Dr. Maurice
Kritchman; dear sister of the late Dr.
Samuel Bernstein. Interment at
Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

SARA "SALLY" KRUT, 83, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 2.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Michael and Faye
Krut of Farmington Hills; daughters,
Brenda Waldman of Farmington Hills,
Linda Abrams of Waterford; brother
and sister-in-law, Edward and
Geraldine Chusid of West Bloomfield;
sister and brother-in-law, Rose and
Joseph Berliner of Boca Raton, Fla.;

ETHEL LANSKY, 92, of Huntington
Woods, died Jan. 31.
She is survived by her sons-in-law,
Joel Schmerin, Sheldon Wasserman;
grandchildren, Gail and Scott
Barbera, Helene and Jason Norotn,
Elysse Wasserman, Geri and John
Powell; great-grandchildren, Victoria
and Michael Powell and Danielle
Norton. Mrs. Lansky was the beloved
wife of the late Harold Lansky; lov-

ing mother of the late Helene
Wasserman and the late Susan
Schmerin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made

LOIS ZAMLER LESSER, 70, of
Beverly Hills, died Feb. 1. She was rec-
ognized for her community work with
several noted awards including the
Volunteer of the Year Award from the
National Society of Fund-Raising
Executives, the Governor's Award for
Exemplary Volunteer Work and
Outstanding Service to the Community
and the Distinguished Service Award
2001 from the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Mrs. Zamler Lesser held many lead-
ership positions with the DIA as well as
being co-chair of the Volunteer
Committees of Art Museums of the
United States and Canada. She was also
asked by the director of the DIA to rep-
resent the DIA to the U.S. Congress
regarding the funding of the arts.
She was a graduate of Wayne State
University with a bachelor of arts and
her master's studies were in English liter-
ature.

Mrs. Zamler Lesser is survived by her
husband, Robert Lesser; sons and
daughters-in-law, Craig and Maureen
Zamler, Dr. David and Di& Zamler,
Sherwin and Monica Zamler, all of
Beverly Hills; daughters and son-in-law,
Diane Henninger of Beverly Hills, Ellen
and Dr. Les Siegel of Bloomfield Hills;
grandchildren, Lyndsey, Kerri, Casey,
Julia, Shelley, Daniel, Sarah and Noah
Zamler, Joseph and Dayna Henninger,
Michael, Eric and Stephen Siegel; broth-
ers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry
Zamler, Albert Zamler, Yetta Kushner,
Elaine Lesser, Sam and Hyla Offen. She
was the beloved wife of the late Bermard
Zamler.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
