IDA ZABEL, 88, of Southfield, died
Aug. 19.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Jerald and Vivian Zabel
of Southfield; daughter, Francine Zabel;
sister, Rose Bogorad of Delray Beach,
Fla.; grandchildren, Larry, Martin and
Marnie. She was the beloved wife of the
late Max Zabel; sister of the late Cele
Goldstein.
Interment was held at Westwood
Cemetery in Inkster. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's choice.

ROZA ZERNITSKAYA, 88, of
Southfield, died Aug. 17.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Zina and Vladimir Kotlyar
of Oak Park; grandchildren, Leon
Kotlyar, Paul Kotlyar; great-grandson,
Brandon Kotlyar.
Contributions may be made to a

Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements

JACK ZIDE, 93, of Farmington Hills,
died Aug. 13. Prior to his retirement in
1980, he was founder, in 1943, and
owner of Allied Film Exchange with
offices in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati
and Indianapolis. Mr. Zide was the
founder of the Detroit Variety Club, its
past president and chief barker and was
honored many times by the organiza-
tion with various awards locally and
nationally. He received the Spirit of
Detroit Award and, in 1973, the Award
of Appreciation by the National
Association of Theater Owners.
Mr. Zide is survived by his sons and
daughters-in-law, Michael and Arline
Zide, Martin and Nancy Zide; daughter
and son-in-law, Carol and Joseph
Brown; grandchildren, Larry and Sherly
Zide, Debby and Martin Cohen,
Richard and Erica Zide, Warren and
Lisa Zide, Dr. Elizabeth Zide, Rachel
Brown, David Brown and Jeffrey
Brown; great-grandchildren, David,
Brian, Justin, Jason, Danielle, Amy,
Sydney; sister, Adele Yaker of California.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Sylvia Zide.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
