Windsor, died Aug. 20.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Anna and Yale Levin of
Southfield; grandchildren, Tony and
Karen Levin, Jennifer and Steve Teper;
great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jodi
Levin and Jason leper. She was the
beloved wife of the late Tonnie
(Theodore) Kovinsky; loving mother of
the late William Kovinsky.

Detroiter from Savannah, Ga., died
Aug. 11. He moved to Savannah in
1968. He was an Army veteran, a mem-
ber of Oak Park/Craftsman Lodge and
retired from Mica Designs in Savannah.
Mr. Mintz was a member of
Congregation Agudath Achim in
Savannah and served as house chairman
of the board of directors and Chevra
Kadisha.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet
Karlin of Savannah; sons and daughter-
in-law, Leonard Mintz, Richard and
Fran Mintz, all of Atlanta; brother and
sister-in-law, Larry and Phyllis Mintz of
Savannah; sister and brother-in-law,
Zelda and Jack Shay of Southfield;
grandson, Corbin Mintz of Atlanta.

NELL POLIAT, 89, of New Mexico,

died Aug. 12. She worked in the
accounting department at Wayne State
University.
She is survived by her sister, Gertrude
Menz of North Carolina; brother and
sister-in-law, George and Alice Wise of
Florida; sister-in-law, Esther Poliat of
Birmingham. Mrs. Poliat was the
beloved wife of the late Hyman Poliat.

KATHERINE SCHNEIDERMAN,

89, of Southfield, died Aug. 19. She was
a member of Women's American ORT.

IDA TATELBAUM, 103, of Detroit,
died Aug. 17.
She is survived by her daughters and
son-in-law, Marjorie and Milton Bieber
of Florida, Alice Coan of Florida; son
and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Elsie
Tatelbaum; eight grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tatelbaum
was the beloved wife of the late Samuel
Tatelbaum.

Ann Arbor, died Aug. 19.
