Hershenhouse of Illinois; brother
and sister-in-law, Harvey and Nina
Koloms of Illinois.
Interment at Waldheim Cemtery
in Illinois. Contributions may be
made to the Alzheimer's Association.

JEAN SEMP, 84, of New Zealand,

died Aug. 3. She resided most of her
life in the Jewish community of
Manchester, England, was a member
of the Central Shul and the Heaton
Park Shul and a member of the
Jewish Blind Society in Crumpsall,
Manchester.
Mrs. Semp migrated to New
Zealand several years ago to spend
her final years with her family of
grandchildren and great-grandchil-
dren in Auckland and Napier, New
Zealand, and visited Michigan sever-
al times with her late husband,
attending services at Congregation
Beth Shalom where her son,
'Reverend Sammy Semp is the ritual
director.
Mrs. Semp is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Irving and
Sandra Semp of New Zealand, Rev.
Sammy and Gilah Semp of
Southfield; grandchildren, David
Semp, Michael and Rachel Semp,
Peninah Semp, Devorah Semp, Ari
1 oshe Semp; great-grandchildren,
1 Blake, Daniel and Harrison Semp.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Morris Semp; loving daughter of the
iate Minnie and the late Joseph
Cohen; dear sister of the late Lily
vlichael, Burt, Annie, Benny, Jack
Lnd Ike.
Interment in New Zealand.
