She resided most of her life in the Jewish community of Manchester, England, was a member of the Central Shul and the Heaton Park Shul and a member of the Jewish Blind Society in Crumpsall, Manchester. Mrs. Semp migrated to New Zealand several years ago to spend her final years with her family of grandchildren and great-grandchil- dren in Auckland and Napier, New Zealand, and visited Michigan sever- al times with her late husband, attending services at Congregation Beth Shalom where her son, 'Reverend Sammy Semp is the ritual director. Mrs. Semp is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Irving and Sandra Semp of New Zealand, Rev.
